Frontier Academy Elementary offers programs to assist families with the care of their Wolverines. The Before, After, Friday, and Summer Enrichment Programs exist to enrich students’ academic achievement, character development, and citizenship through elective courses, homework help, and engaging activities. The goal of these programs is to support parents’ busy schedules by providing flexible pick-up/drop-off times before and after school, full-day enrichment on Fridays to supplement the 4-day school week, as well as care during school breaks/vacations.

Before & After School Care

The before and after-school programs are available on an as-needed basis on days school is in session. Families who are enrolled can utilize the service at their convenience, whether it be daily, weekly, monthly, or sporadically.

Friday Care

Friday Enrichment offers STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) based activities where kids can get hands-on learning.

Summer Care

Summer Enrichment not only offers STEAM activities, but we will also go on field trips as much as possible. Whether it be to a local pool, playground, museum, or for a fun game of bowling, we will make sure your Wolverine will enjoy their summer vacation!

Health Clerk

Frontier has a full-time health clerk at the elementary school 7:00am- 4:00pm. The health clerk maintains student immunization records and assists with daily student health needs, such as diabetes monitoring. The health clerk can be reached at (970) 330-1780. Or visit the Frontier Academy Health Services webpage.

Life saving medications will be transported to and from Enrichment daily to be available if needed. At the end of the school year, medication will be returned to students through the Frontier Health office. If your student will be attending Summer Enrichment, you will need to provide the medication and current paperwork to Enrichment staff.
