Volunteers & Visitors
Volunteers and visitors are welcome at Frontier Academy!
If you would like to visit our campus or volunteer, please make your request via the buttons below. Please allow 24 hours for visitor approval and 48 hours for volunteer approval. Once submitted, you will be contacted by a member of our administration with confirmation and approval. This includes visiting your student's classroom during the school day.
In order to volunteer at the elementary or secondary campus during school hours, all potential volunteers must attend one orientation. Topics will include expectations and conduct of volunteers while on campus. Orientations times and dates will be announced throughout the school year.
You may attend any Elementary OPT meeting to complete your orientation. Elementary OPT normally meets on the 2nd Tuesday of the month (August - May) at 6 pm in the Elementary Library. Please check the event calendar for the exact time and date. To inquire about an alternative orientation date, please email [email protected].
For safety and security reasons, visitors to campus must have prior authorization from the building principal or Executive Director. Parents may request to visit classes or other educational activities for their specific students for a specific reason at any time but must receive prior approval before entering the approved venue.
The administration reserves the right to deny access to any school property or activity. Volunteers need prior approval from classroom teachers and administration and will receive set expectations for their involvement in the educational program.
If any visitor to the building has been deemed a disruption to the learning environment, they will be asked to leave. Violators of this policy may receive warning of trespass and may be prohibited from returning.
