Secondary Dress Code Guidelines

Inappropriate Clothing:
The following items are not allowed at school:

• Pajamas, onesies, and flannel pants
• Midriff or low-cut tops
• Slippers
• Camouflage clothing
• Tank tops, muscle shirts, or other tops that expose shoulders
• Clothing with references to drugs, gangs, sex, violence, alcohol, or tobacco
• Gruesome or disturbing graphics

Appropriate Clothing:
Students should wear the following:

• Tops, bottoms, and shoes must be worn
• No holes or distressed areas in clothing
• Bottoms should be mid-thigh or longer
• If wearing spandex or lycra, it must be covered to mid-thigh
• All bellies, backs, butts, breasts, and bare shoulders must be covered
• Undergarments should not be visible

Optional Dress Code:
While suits, ties, dresses, and uniforms are not required, dressing up is encouraged for special occasions such as Game Days, interviews, concerts, etc.
