How to Enroll

Applicant Priority & Responsibility

If openings occur, priority is given as follows:
Priority 1 -- Frontier Academy staff members’ children
Priority 2 -- Siblings of currently enrolled Frontier Academy students

Priority 3 -- Friday Access (Homeschool Program) students (Grades 1st - 12th only)
Priority 3 -- Public list

To enroll your student at Frontier Academy all applicants need to complete an Online Open Enrollment Application: Please visit the District 6 webpage to get started by clicking HERE.

Applicants are responsible to visit https://greeleyschools.schoolmint.net/signin to update any changes to their application including address, phone numbers, etc. All applications will remain active and be kept on file until applicants are offered enrollment or applicant requests removal.

Once an applicant is enrolled at Frontier Academy, it is the parent’s responsibility to notify Frontier Academy of any siblings currently on file. Students are required to provide their own transportation.

Kindergarten

Students registering for Kindergarten must be five (5) years of age on or before October 1st of the year he/she starts school. All online Open Enrollment Applications for Kindergarten will be accepted and added to the waitlist at any time. Openings are filled based on the date received.

Parents may add infants or toddlers to the Open Enrollment Application. Parents can fill this out at any time (birth) and the application will roll forward year after year until the child is old enough for Kindergarten, when the system marks them as grade level KG and will enter them into the waitlist at that time (in order or application date).

For infants and toddlers not eligible for the next school year, selecting Frontier Academy as your first choice will prioritize your application on the waitlist. To do so, be sure to choose 'infant' on both the 'Current Grade' and 'Grade Applying To'. The image below is a picture of how to add a new student application and highlights to select which grade to apply to.

1st-5th Grade

Enrollment for 1st through 5th Grade is based on a lottery draw. All online Open Enrollment Applications must be submitted by April 30th to be eligible for the first lottery drawing for the following school year beginning in August. Online Open Enrollment applications submitted after the April 30th cutoff will be accepted and considered should a subsequent lottery drawing occur. A lottery drawing occurs if an opening occurs within a grade level.

Online open enrollment applications will be accepted at any time. Any active application not accepted for the current school year will be automatically rolled into the lottery for the next school year in October. If new families want to enroll for the current school year after October 1st, they will also need to create another application for the following school year.

6th-12th Grade

Online Open Enrollment Applications are accepted at any time. A lottery drawing may occur if an opening occurs within a grade level. If an applicant is applying for 10th through 12th grade, please submit a transcript to the secondary school in addition to completing an online Open Enrollment Application to make sure you have the appropriate credits for the grade level you are interested in.

Online open enrollment applications will be accepted at any time.
