HIGH SCHOOL CLUBS
Academic Decathlon
Academic Decathlon is a combination of a class, a club, and a statewide/nationwide competition. Students study a different curriculum each year and compete against others in: Art, Science, Social Science, Economics, Literature, Math and Music, Speech, Essay, and Interview. All students are welcome!
Coexist Club
Coexist is a club dedicated to providing a safe and inclusive space for all students. It is a club geared toward building a supportive and loving community, as well as looking for opportunities to promote advocacy and school initiatives to continue to build an equitable and supportive experience for all students.
Drama Productions
Frontier Academy offers opportunities for middle and high school students to be involved in extra-curricular, after-school theatre productions. Audition information and a calendar of dates can be obtained by calling 970-339-9153 or by emailing the Secondary Drama Director, Mr. Settje. To participate in an upcoming production, parents must register their students in Family ID.
Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)
Students meet bi-weekly over lunch to encourage and support one another in their Christian walk. Most meetings will include a student-led Bible Study.
Interact Club
Interact Club is a community and international service club connected with Rotary that is open to all middle and high school students. Our goal is to serve well and become leaders in both our school and community. Reach out to Mrs. Fanning with any questions to join our Google Classroom and pay attention to announcements to hear when we will be meeting this year! We're ready to have a great year serving others!
Jazz Club
We talk about the music, listen to tunes, discuss live music concert opportunities, and jam sessions are likely to break out at any moment.
Key Club
Our goal is to build our home, school, and community through service. What does that mean for you? It means you get to help people, feel good about being a part of the change you wish to see in the world and have a nice bundle of community service hours for your resume/college applications. We do things like pack food boxes at the Food Bank, read books with elementary students at East Memorial, trick-or-treat for UNICEF, and lots more! Hosted by Mrs. Neel. LULAC
LULAC (League of United Latin American Citizens) is "the largest and oldest Hispanic organization in the United States. LULAC advances the economic condition, educational attainment, political influence, housing, health, and civil rights of Hispanic Americans through community-based programs operating at more than 1,000 LULAC councils nationwide. The organization involves and serves all Hispanic nationality groups" (lulac.org/about).
National Honor Society
National Honor Society is sponsored by Mrs. Clark and meets on the third Thursday of each month where we plan community service projects and then carry them out. Our year-long, school-wide project is free tutoring services after school for all secondary school students in the library every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. National Honor Society is not a club, but rather an honor society: Members must be juniors or seniors and are selected each spring through a rigorous, multi-step process requiring that they have a cumulative minimum GPA of 3.5 and have met personal goals of integrity, service, and leadership.
National ART Honor Society
A program for high school students established by the National Art Education Association (NAEA) to recognize and encourage excellence in the visual arts. The program honors students who demonstrate artistry, scholarship, leadership, service, and character through various art-related activities and offers benefits like leadership opportunities, college/career preparation, and potential scholarships.
SART
This peer education program utilizes the enthusiasm, talent, and credibility of high school student leaders to inform youth about sexual violence. Presenters work to not only raise awareness and knowledge about sexual violence but also to increase support for survivors and create a safer school culture.
Search for Christ
This is a student-led activity where interested high school students are given the opportunity to engage in an in-depth Bible study focused on the life of Christ and His work of compassion.
Student Council
High School Student Council is a group of students dedicated to promoting and providing memorable high school experiences while building school traditions and spirit. This includes student support initiatives, Homecoming activities, dances, volunteer opportunities, community outreach, leadership development, and book studies.
Theatre Appreciation
A place for drama enthusiasts to build community together. We play drama games, theater activities, periodic field trips & support Frontier drama productions and school events with service projects. Student-led, Sponsor: Mrs. Spahr
Ultimate Frisbee
Play Ultimate Frisbee and have fun. Everyone is welcome to join or leave at any time. No fees.
Women in STEM
We're here to empower and support future innovators in the exciting fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Through engaging workshops, inspiring guest speakers, and a welcoming community. Together, we'll break barriers and shape the future of STEM.

Coexist
Coexist Club is a place dedicated to inclusion for all students, particularly focused on LGBTQ+ individuals. Meetings provide a safe space for students to be themselves and to find community. During meetings, we play games, make crafts, and find ways to support school initiatives and to foster kindness in our building.

National Junior Honor Society
The National Junior Honor Society is for 7th and 8th-grade students who demonstrate leadership and are committed to the values of scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship in school settings. Students with a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher will be invited to apply, and member nominations will occur in September. Members will meet on the third Wednesday of every month before school to strengthen their leadership skills, community involvement, and overall character. Members will also plan and perform their service obligations through mini-service projects throughout the year and one major service project that is required each year. The Middle School Student Council will be starting soon! Our goal is to help middle schoolers become better leaders for the future by participating in community service, organizing school events, and providing fun opportunities for all.

A specially-chosen 8th-grade team of students who dedicated themselves to creating the middle school yearbook!
Video Game Club
The purpose of a video game club is to provide students with a fun, social, and inclusive space to share their interest in gaming. It encourages teamwork, strategic thinking, and communication while promoting positive digital citizenship.
Wolverine Student Ambassadors
Wolverine Student Ambassadors is a group of 8th-grade students who applied and completed an interview and recommendation during their 7th-grade year. WSA works closely with 6th-grade students to help them transition to middle school and help them find success. The assistance they provide to students is: CLAW tutoring, greeting new students, providing tours, organizational support, peer support, and other service activities.
