2008-2009 Peer Counselors

What They Do

This cross-section of peer counselors provide peer mediation, conflict-resolution and mentorship to promote the acceptance of all students and support a positive and safe school climate.  

This program also addresses skill building in communication, problem-solving and decision making. These peer counselors have undergone over 60 hours of extensive training and act under the direct supervision of the Guidance Office.

Students may access one of these peer counselors by approaching them one on one or by asking either Mrs. Mena or Mr. Buxman in the Guidance Office.
